2017 H.E.B. Family Camp – July 23rd-27th

Info & What to Bring List


Meet to Leave Sunday, July 23rd at 3:00 p.m. from the church parking lot by office.

We need help packing food in ice chests and the trailer. Meet to pack food at 2:00 p.m. behind the New Fellowship Hall Kitchen, ice chests needed if you have one!


Return Thursday, July 27th at 3:00 p.m.

Cell phones do not work at camp.  You can drive out to Hwy 83 to get a signal. 

You need a 1-800 calling card to use the camp phone.  We’ll have a card available for short, necessary calls.  There is no internet at camp.


Wed, July 19, 7:30 p.m. meeting in old fellowship hall: Review schedule, room assignments, meal crew assignments, required sexual abuse awareness training,     Q & A, Prayer time.



What to Bring Check List:

           Bible, Pen or Pencil


           Sleeping Bag or bed sheets – Check at July 19th meeting for your bed size.

           Kings, queens & singles bedding, most adults are on queen size. 

           2 Plastic drinking cup, Yetis, Water cups, etc. to carry around camp

           Toilet paper, tissues, hand sanitizer or soap

           Bath mat, floors are slippery

           4-5 Changes of Clothes, t-shirts & shorts are good

           Underwear, socks & PJs

           Bathing Suit, swimming towel, sunglasses & suntan lotion

           Washcloth & bath towel

           Water Shoes, Sandals, and/or flip flops, if you have them

           Tennis shoes or Hiking shoes – We’ll go on a hike Tuesday.

           Toothbrush & toothpaste

           Shampoo, soap, deodorant, toiletries, etc.

           Flashlight!   Check your batteries.

           Medicine - We have basic first aid supplies and a camp nurse

           Optional: Fishing Pole & tackle box. Bait.  Great fishing hole.

           Optional: Camera, cap, sunglasses, snacks, bug spray, river float/tube,

            airpump, table games, card games, lawn chair, apron, Rec equipment  


The camp does not allow any pets or animals.
